Our members earn weekly income from learning and trading diagonal options spreads. Here is a sample of a diagonal put spread. This is how we generate income by selling and rolling puts each week. In this trade, $851 buying power effect allows us to generate premium income each week.

Learn the basics of options trading. Option trading can be complicated. We like to keep it simple. Options can be a strategic way to generate income. They can be used in conservative strategies or they can be used to speculate.
We Trade Option Spreads!
Diagonal Call Spreads
Don't have a bunch of money to trade traditional covered calls? No problem! Learn to trade poor man's covered calls, also known as diagonal call spreads. Instead of purchasing 100 shares of stock and selling a call, we purchase a long term option and sell a call against it. Less capital required and the chance for high returns. Join Weekly Income Trader and learn to trade diagonal call spreads/poor man's covered calls and receive trade ideas. We aim to earn 36%+ annual rate from this trading strategy. We can make money on the trade if the underlying stock goes up, goes sideways, or has a small drop in price.
Long Put Diagonal Spreads
We also trade long put diagonal spreads. We buy a longer term put that is out of the money and sell a short term put that also out of the money. Our short put is covered by the long put. There are times when we can earn 1% to 5% a WEEK with this trading strategy. The long put also serves a hedge in case of a large drop in the stock price. Join WIT and learn to love diagonal spreads! Diagonals are very manageable.
Vertical Spreads
We love trading vertical spreads since this strategy requires low capital. We find a stock we are bullish about and buy an at the money call and sell a slightly out of the money call to form the debit vertical spread. We are generally in these trades for only a few days. Profit and loss is defined with this type of spread. We just need the stock to move up a small amount to lock in nice profits. Amount risked is about $200 a trade based on one contract trading.
How We Generate Income
We purchase a long term option(kinda like owning real estate) then each week we sell a call/put option and earn a premium(like collecting rent on our real estate). We keep doing this each week to generate weekly income. We also benefit from a price increase in the long term option. For example, we purchase a long term option in GDX for $950 then each week we sell a short term option and earn $40 a week on the $950 invested. You can continue to sell the short option and earn money each week or you can close the position with a quick target profit.
